A luxury cruise boat, first of its kind from Cochin, Emerald Princess has an interior that is styled like a restaurant, while the exterior is that of traditional Kettuvallam. The only boat in the backwaters to be certified by Indian Register of Shipping for Hull specification, the cruise revolves around the culture, colour and cuisine of Kerala.
A journey in this cruise through the enchanting backwaters of Alleppy and Kottayam would give a first hand experience of the life and culture. Toddy tapping, coir making and fishing could be seen. Kathakali dance is performed in this traditional kettuvallam styled boat. Popular Kerala dishes and other Indian specialities on buffet with no artificial colours, additives or preservatives could be tried.
Other specialities are: welcome drink, cold towels, evening snacks, fiber optic lights, adequate life jackets for all on board and sufficient fire fighting equipment, not to mention bio-tanks for toilets, no plastic disposals, nestle vending machine, full stainless steel kitchen, live band music, separate guest and staff toilets etc.
